St. Louis Rams Have No Faith in their Fans
With the start of the NFL football season finally here the fans should be ready to yell, scream, and taunt right? Well according to the St. Louis Rams staff their fans are not ready for this season. With the production of the video "Ram Rules" http://bit.ly/oLCjn4 hitting the St. Louis area by storm, it has many fans upset. The fans feel as if they are being told they are incapable of cheering at a football game. With the release of the video before kickoff last Sunday, the St. Louis staff got a reaction they probably were not expecting; angry fans and booing! Remembering 9-11
With the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks approaching, people in America and around the World step back and take a moment to remember the lives lost, the hero's who tried to save them, and the people affected by this terrible attack. An event of such magnitude is hard to forget. Where were you on that very morning the terrorists flew a plane into the World Trade Center? Where were you when the terrorists flew a plane into the Pentagon? I remember sitting in my photography class, 2nd period, freshman year of High School. I remember my teacher saying there has been an attack on America. All the TVs in the High School were turned on and everyone was shocked, disoriented and panicked. People were frantic who had family, friends, or acquaintances there. I remember being so worried because my dad had been flying on business that day. All I wanted to do was go home with my mom and try and find my dad. They would not let anyone leave or call any family members. When I went home that night I remember my mom coming into my room, kissing me on my head and saying just pray. This was the first time I had seen my mother scared. She said it reminded her of the Vietnam War when her mom did the same, thinking the the world we knew could be coming to an end. What do you remember? The 9-11 Attacks shot America down for a short time. It proved America, while being a strong nation, does have its weaknesses. However we did bounce back, just as we always do. So this weekend while you are taking the time in your own way to REMEMBER the tragedy of the 9-11 Attacks take a moment to pray for those who still live with the memories of that tragic day.
